Advocacy Campaigns 
                                     

Our research, report writing, lobbying, and public speaking helped a statewide environmental nonprofit organization develop its campaign for waste reduction, reuse, and recycling -- and catalyzed passage of innovative solid waste law in Wisconsin, U.S.A.

An environmental institute distributed widely our report on Municipal Waste Incineration.  Citizens throughout the state used this report as a public information tool.

 

 Hoffman and Associates helped local community leaders in Madison, Wisconsin develop an effective strategy to persuade officials to restrict air emissions.  The campaign gained favorable media coverage with a firm, balanced approach.

We assisted a European nonprofit organization working on marine biodiversity to develop a culturally sensitive strategy for advocacy in Japan.  We provided introductions to nonprofits that had run successful campaigns, as well as advice about potential partners and evaluation of tactics. 

Lobbying

 We have engaged in effective lobbying of legislators at both state and national levels in the U.S. on a wide range of issues.
