Welcome! Feel free to come in, browse, and ask how we can
help.

Our Mission:
To help organizations and individuals worldwide improve knowledge and
performance with regard to international, environmental, and social issues. We
work within individual nations and as a bridge between nations (e.g., on
Japan-U.S. environmental issues), using integrative thinking, communication, and multilingual skills, as
well as a large interdisciplinary knowledge base, to perform research, facilitate collaboration and
exchange, and help solve problems of
diverse
kinds.

"It will require virtually all of our ingenuity,
insight and good will to devise lasting solutions to the
international, environmental and
social problems of the 21st century."
--Dr. Steven M. Hoffman, Hoffman and Associates
"When people from
different walks of life or different nations collaborate, we need as many
effective "bridge people" as possible -- to act as a bridge across
communication styles, and to fill in the rich cultural
contexts
that
stand behind words and action."
--Dr. Steven M. Hoffman
